Mondays with Myrt Live from the Family History Library~Blogger Beads, Genfriends and Lolly Cake
RootsTech 2017 Blogger Beads
Genealogy Bloggers know being presented at a conference with Blogger Beads from DearMYRTLE (Pat Richley-Erickson) is something to look forward to. My RootsTech 2017 beads were presented to me during the February 6th episode of Mondays with Myrt live from the Family History Center. When I arrived Monday morning to be a part of the google hangout, Myrt, Barry Kline and Roger Moffat were busily setting up in the glass meeting room on the library's 3rd floor helping Pat with the necessary equipment to connect with Cousin Russ (Russ Worthington) in New Jersey, those who were at the library and others joining in from all over the world. Being one of the first to arrive, I was able to sign at the beginning of the hangout for a 15 minute slot. It was fun to meet fellow genealogists both in the hangout and waiting outside the room.

Cheri, you're right about the blogger beads being something all geneabloggers look forward to. I was honoured to receive mine during DearMYRT's Google Hangout as well. As for Roger's lolly cake, well that was new for me! Obviously a New Zealand thing that hasn't crossed the waters to Australia, it sure was yummy.
